In short - a festival on ice celebrating the automotive culture, full of spiked tires, smell of gasoline, extreme driving and fascinating cars. In the 1950‘s, 10 000 fans would travel to Zell am See to be part of the historic races. And since 2019, this amazing tradition lives again.

The Ice Race will take place on the 27th January 2024 in Zell am See.

Both amateur and professionals compete across multitude of classes to be the best on ice.

There are several categories in which races can choose to compete in. This year‘s categories are Touring 4-wheel and 2-wheel cars, Buggys, Skijöring, Skijöring Elektro, Side-cars and Classic

No ice, no problem! The event will be happening even if the weather is against us. We have some cool plans in our pockets.

There‘s free parking available on site. However, we suggest sharing a car with your friends to help traffic.

We have some great foodtrucks prepared for you, so come hungry!

No. At Ice Race everyone is important and you‘ll get access to everything - from paddock to hangars.

Yes, admission is free up until 14 years of age.

Wear whatever you want, but keep in mind it might be freezing. After all, it‘s an Ice Race. So bring warm shoes!

The motto is motorsport of the 80s and 90s. We‘ll have a prize for the best dressed petrolhead.
